DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nTuesday March 3 and Wednesday March 4th from 8am to 5pm. \nClark County Shooting Complex- \n11357 N. Decatur Blvd. Las Vegas\, Nevada 89131 \nEd Ct 50 Yard Range \n  \n2 Day Pistol  is designed to diagnose the inefficiencies and flaws in your technique as well as your training methods to enhance your ability to shoot fast enough to matter and keep finding better ways to improve your all around ability. This course is not for the brand new shooter. The students should at minimum be able to hit what they are aiming at with no time limit with pistol out to 10-15 yards. Day one will diagnose and correct pistol fundamentals to make it make sense for every application. Day two we will dive into movement techniques and training strategies with a class match for the second half of day 2. There’s no better way to asses your skill than to perform challenges under the stress and focus required in a competitive environment. \nClass Content: \n\nSafety and handling\nGear selection and purpose\nDry Fire best practices\nZeroing Pistol (as needed)\nVision strategies\nAiming strategies\nEngagement strategies\nTraining vs Evaluation\nGrip\, Stance\, Trigger\nDefining technique\nHow to get faster\nReading the gun and calling your shots\nGood Mechanics and Manipulations\nMovement\nTransitions\nAnd a class match on Day 2\n\nGear Checklist: \n\n500-700 rounds of pistol\nReliable handgun (no subcompact pistols or revolvers)\nMinimum 3 magazines (More would be best for the class)\nMagazine pouch or 2\nPistol Holster required must be solid material such as Kydex that retains its shape. NO LEATHER OR CLOTH HOLSTERS!\nHydration and snacks\nNotebook and note taking tools\nRain Gear as needed\n\n*Students may be allowed to train from concealment if they want\, but a quick safety assessment of the gear and the user will be done before class begins for this to occur. \n**Cancellation // Refund Policy \nClass must be paid for in full before the date of the class to reserve a ticket.
