DESCRIPTION:Class Description \nTactical Pistol 1 is a pre-requisite for this class. In this 8-hour class\, students will learn how to stay in the fight when one hand is wounded and the necessity of operating their pistol with the functioning hand. This class is unique because it will combine tactical pistol\, combat wound care\, and the warrior mindset all in one. Students will simulate what it is like to be wounded\, give self-aid and then manipulate their pistol. \nEvery student will receive a R.A.T.S. tourniquet included in the cost of the class. If you do not have a 9mm pistol and gear\, you may rent a set of ours for $20 or provide your own ammo and we will reduce the cost of the class. \nRequired materials include: pistol\, three pistol magazines\, a strong side holster\, magazine pouch\, strong belt\, eye and ear protection\, and 250 rounds of ammunition. DESCRIPTION:Class Description \nThis class is for shooters who would like to improve their skills on the AR-15/AK47 carbines or other tactical rifle platforms. This class is taught at an outdoor range and can be physically challenging for some shooters. Topics include carry and presentation of rifle\, understanding sight/optic mechanical offset\, proper rifle manipulations\, reloading/ammunition management\, rifle/pistol transitions\, and malfunction clearing. Both steel and paper targets will be employed. No greater than 55-grain bullets are required in order to shoot steel. \nStudents will fire approximately 400 rounds of rifle ammo and 100 rounds of pistol ammo and are required to provide both a rifle and pistol. Required gear includes: Rifle\, rifle sling\, 3 rifle magazines\, rifle magazine pouch\, pistol\, strong side pistol holster\, 3 pistol magazines\, pistol magazine pouch\, strong belt\, eye and ear protection\, and required ammo. Optics are not required for this class but are recommended. \nPistol and/or Rifle rentals are available at a cost of $20 per weapon with advanced notice. DESCRIPTION:Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit Class \nSuccessful completion of this course will enable students to apply to legally carry a handgun in the State of Tennessee. The Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit allows for open or concealed carry and is issued for an 8-year period. This 8-hour class includes topics such as nomenclature\, gun care and cleaning\, home safety\, proper selection of weapon and caliber\, concealment\, applicable state laws\, and interaction with law enforcement. \nIn addition to the classroom portion\, students will complete a firearms qualification course at the range. Students will shoot 100 rounds of ammunition with 50 rounds for practice and skill building and 50 for qualification. DESCRIPTION:Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit Class \nSuccessful completion of this course will enable students to apply to legally carry a handgun in the State of Tennessee. The Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit allows for open or concealed carry and is issued for an 8-year period. This 8-hour class includes topics such as nomenclature\, gun care and cleaning\, home safety\, proper selection of weapon and caliber\, concealment\, applicable state laws\, and interaction with law enforcement. \nIn addition to the classroom portion\, students will complete a firearms qualification course at the range. Students will shoot 100 rounds of ammunition with 50 rounds for practice and skill building and 50 for qualification. This course is not for the brand new shooter. SUMMARY:TN Enhanced Carry Permit
DESCRIPTION:Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit Class \nSuccessful completion of this course will enable students to apply to legally carry a handgun in the State of Tennessee. The Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit allows for open or concealed carry and is issued for an 8-year period. This 8-hour class includes topics such as nomenclature\, gun care and cleaning\, home safety\, proper selection of weapon and caliber\, concealment\, applicable state laws\, and interaction with law enforcement. \nIn addition to the classroom portion\, students will complete a firearms qualification course at the range. Students will shoot 100 rounds of ammunition with 50 rounds for practice and skill building and 50 for qualification. In order to be certified to carry a handgun\, students are required to complete a written exam and a firearms qualification course with a minimum score of 70. \nA rental package is available at an additional cost for students without access to appropriate gear which includes a .22 semi-automatic pistol\, 100 rounds of ammo\, and eye and ear protection. \nThe Classroom portion of this class will be held at: \nAgape Tactical\n6640 Carothers Pkwy Ste 160\nFranklin\, TN 37067 \nThe Range portion of this class will be held at: \nCharlie Haffner Memorial Range\n2795 Owl Hollow Road\nFranklin\, TN 37064 \nMin/Max number of students: 5/20 \n  \nCancellation and Rescheduling Policy \nA full refund is available for those who give a minimum of TWO weeks notice. “No-shows” will not be allowed a credit or refund. We will contact you to confirm this. \n  \nSafety Policy \nClassroom Safety – Safety guidelines require that there be no guns or ammunition in the classroom. \nRange Safety – When arriving at the range\, all personal firearms should be unloaded and stored in a case\, bag or other container. Holsters are not required for this class. However\, any holster used should be a strong-side\, OWB holster to avoid unsafe handling of the firearm. Standard range safety protocols will be reviewed prior to the start of the class. \nAgape Tactical cannot accept applicants who are currently being treated for post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD). DESCRIPTION:Class Description \nTactical Pistol 2 is a prerequisite to this class. This 8-hour class includes topics such as balancing speed and accuracy\, small team shooting\, use of team tactics and an introduction to structure clearing. Students will engage in small-team movements and communication\, while performing live-fire\, bounding overwatch to hostage rescue. Students will also have the opportunity to practice dynamic room entry in the only live-fire\, outdoor shoot-house in Middle Tennessee. Students will learn the Five Absolutes of Room Entry. Due to the seriousness of this training\, a portion of the class will be performed using rubber training guns to ensure the safety of all students and instructors. \nRequired materials include a semi-automatic pistol\, strong-side holster\, magazine pouch\, three pistol magazines\, strong belt\, eye and ear protection\, and 350 rounds of ammunition.
