Practical Rifle 2 – Movement-Based Rifle Skills

Practical Carbine 2 is an advanced, movement-driven rifle course built for shooters who want to break free from static marksmanship and learn to run a carbine with speed, control, and purpose under dynamic conditions.

This course transforms the rifle from a benchrest tool into a mobile fighting platform, teaching you how to fight your way through space, manage angles, and dominate transitions while maintaining accountability for every round fired.

What You’ll Learn

Practical Carbine 2 pushes beyond stationary shooting and into true applied riflecraft. You will train to:

• Engage targets while moving forward, backward, laterally, and diagonally

• Enter, exit, and flow through shooting positions efficiently

• Maintain stability and recoil control while on the move

• Shoot from non-standard, compromised, and improvised positions

• Transition smoothly between targets and distances

• Use movement to create angles, minimize exposure, and dictate tempo

• Manage reloads and malfunctions while moving

• Apply competitive efficiency to defensive and duty-oriented scenarios

• Reliable Rifle or Carbine with a sling
• 3 to 5 or more magazines
• 400-500 rounds of non green tip fmj ammo (we shoot steel)
• Snacks and hydration
• A folding chair

By the end of Practical Carbine 2, you will move more decisively, control your rifle more efficiently, and understand that a carbine is not meant to be parked—it is meant to be driven.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

A full refund is available for those who give a minimum of TWO WEEKS notice. “No-shows” will not be allowed a credit or refund.

It is the student’s responsibility to register for a future class if he or she cannot attend the originally scheduled class.  In the rare event a class is rescheduled, you will be automatically enrolled in the next open class.  We will contact you to confirm this.

Safety Policy

Agape Tactical and its representatives reserve the right, indeed the duty, to refuse service or to remove individuals who operate in an unsafe or inappropriate manner. Agape Tactical cannot accept applicants who are currently being treated for post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD).
