Safety Policy
It is recommended to start the training journey from gear you can count on. All equipment will be inspected at the beginning of class to determine if it is safe for class. Leather and nylon holsters that do not retain their shape are likely to cause some safety concerns and will not be allowed if they are not safe. We recommend a reliable and reputable kydex style holster. If you have some experience with appendix or inside the waistband holsters and would like to train with one you will be given a quick evaluation at the beginning of class to determine your ability to complete the class with this gear. If you are just getting started it may be prudent to use an outside the waistband holster until you have developed an understanding of the safety skills needed to train from concealment. Safety is a skill, not just a rule.
